Dutch Barn Farm has served the local muslim community for a number of years. Starting in 2015 we are proud to offer halaal options for whole lamb packages. At the moment halaal lamb is only available for whole lamb purchasers. We have two options to meet the needs of our valued customers.
- Halaal slaughter and the carcass quartered (Sold chilled, not frozen. Additional cutting at home is required)
- Boxed Halaal whole lamb package (Sold chilled or frozen. Frozen is standard.)
Halaal slaughter and the carcass quartered*
Our halaal abettior is willing to slaughter lambs and quarter the carcass. Additional cutting at home is necessary for this option. This meat is not frozen. Plan to bring a cooler for the meat. Prices for halaal slaughter and quartering are the cost of the lamb plus $40.

Prices are based on weight ranges. Prices include halaal slaughter, cutting and packaging at $105 per lamb. Meat is frozen and boxed for convenient transport. We are happy to work with you to customize your cuts and packaging.
Small whole halaal lamb (75 to 85 pounds live weight) yields about 34 to 39 pounds of meat: $315
Medium whole lamb (86 to 95 pounds live weight) yields about 40 to 43 pounds of meat: $340
Large whole lamb (96 to 115 pounds live weight) yields about 44 to 52 pounds of meat: $365
